He gained further National Board accredited Post doctoral fellowship training , in the sub-specialization of Maternal and Fetal Medicine ,over a period two years from Fernandez Hospital, Hyderabad (2018-20). During this tenure, he gained expertise in managing high risk pregnancies, performing level 3 fetal procedures including NT scan , TIFFA scan, Fetal ECHO and Neurosonogram and assisted invasive fetal procedures like amniocentesis, CVS and intra-uterine fetal transfusion.
Dr. Rajeeb Jena is the first recipient of the Fellowship of the National Board (FNB) in Maternal–Fetal Medicine in the state of Odisha. He served as a tenured Assistant Professor at IMS and SUM Hospital for four years and subsequently established the Maternal–Fetal Medicine department at AHANA GynaeCare, where he practiced as a consultant. He further refined his expertise by completing a hybrid training program in fetal echocardiography at Amrita University, Kochi. In addition, Dr. Jena holds the Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) from the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI) and is a credentialed laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeon.
Dr Rajeeb believes in working with ethical aspects of patient care, patient safety and envisions on improving maternal and fetal health through technology augmented practice.
Over more than a decade of clinical practice, Dr. Jena has contributed to high-volume obstetric, gynecologic, and fetal medicine services at premier Indian institutions, including JIPMER, Puducherry; Fernandez Hospital, Hyderabad; and IMS and SUM Hospital. His professional commitment centers on evidence-based, ethically grounded patient care and safety. Dr. Jena is dedicated to advancing maternal and fetal health outcomes through the integration of cutting-edge technologies and minimally invasive techniques.
